In the recent years, with the adjustment of planting structure and replacement of crop varieties, new changes have occurred in the crop diseases, pests and weeds. Among them, plant bacterial disease have surpassed virus disease and become the second largest disease caused by plant pathogens after fungal disease. Among all the agrochemicals for the prevention and control of bacterial diseases, inorganic copper have become the preferred products of the majority of growers.
The copper-based fungicides play essential roles in controlling bacterial and fungal diseases around the globe. It ranks as the World Top 6 fungicides due to the advantages of safe and environmentally-friendly mineral source ingredients, efficient and sustained control effects, flexible and diverse application methods.
Sunjoy Agro understands the strategic role of copper-based fungicides, and has begun to expand the product range from Copper Oxychloride 84% WG, Bordeaux Mixture 86% WG, Copper Hydroxide 77% WG to Sulfur 80% WG since 2012. The production site uses refined copper ore as raw material, precisely controls impurity and adopts the world's advanced manufacturing technology. As a result, the fungicide has the ultra-fine particle size of 1.67 microns, which makes it safer for crop protection and for tank mixture. Moreover, dispersible granule (WG), or Dry Flowable (DF), to be more specific, disintegrates quickly in contact with water to form a homogenous suspension. This characteristic, in addition to the surfactants in formulations, assures an optimum distribution of the product during application.
